TM52 TiCtitanium carbide based cermets steel bonded ferro-ticcarbide and alloyrods,  which contains a hard phase TiC and a bonding phase high manganese steel, wherein the bonding phase contains, by weight, Ni, Mn, and the balance elements.  Hardness  HRC 60-62, denstiy 6.2 ±0.2 g/cm3. TM52 steel bonded titanium carbide rod is widely  used in mining industry, especially on high manganese steel crusher hammer with 3-5 times longer service life.

Taking low-cost high-manganese steel or ultra-high manganese steel as large wear-resistant base material, casted with TM52 TiCtitanium carbide based cermets steel bonded ferro-ticcarbide and alloyrods, the new wear parts’s wearing side has excellent wear resistance, while non-wearing side with excellent plasticity and impact toughness.It has been successfully used for high manganese wear parts, like large jaw plate, rolling mortar wall, broken wall, vertical grinding roller, vertical grinding disc liner, counter-breaking plate hammer, installed by the user to use, consistent response is good.

TiC cermets rod’s hardness can not be higher than HRC62, HRC60 is the best. Once combined with high manganese steel substrate, surface hardning will happen under strong impact, that is the reason why the high manganese wear parts with titanium carbide steel boneded rod could get high wear resistance, while toughness and plasticity unchanged. If the hardness of TM52 TiCtitanium carbide based cermets steel bonded ferro-ticcarbide and alloyrods is too high, the rods will break during working.

 

TM52 titanium carbide cermet steel bonded carbide rod production method of high manganese steel hammer and process:

Die openings (Suitable for wooden mold, sand mold and EPC) → welding iron nails ( Welding the nail on the rod by argon arc which can fix the rod) → rods placed in a mold ( suitable wood mold, sand mold and EPC) → model coating (coating & drying each 3 times) → casting and sealing to finalized the design→ surface treatment.
